The Velox Sounder/Flasher 40320 brings a breakthrough in fire safety technology. It uses the patented VELOX Energy Recovery System (VERS) to recover kinetic energy. This energy feeds back into a super-capacitor, reducing wasted energy by up to 80%.
Each unit consumes only 3mA, yet delivers up to 106dBA of sound. Its flasher illuminates rooms up to 9m x 9m, outperforming any comparable device.
Thanks to its low power usage, you can install up to 133 sounder/flashers on VELOX 4000 panels. The 5000 and 6000 series panels support up to 100 devices, all powered and connected on a single loop.
The device also features a tri-color status indicator—green for healthy, amber for fault, and red for fire.
The 403xx Flashers extend VELOX’s micropower technology. They maintain the same 3mA consumption, with wide lens coverage. A flasher covers 6m x 6m from a 2.4m ceiling or 9m x 9m from a wall at the same height.
VELOX offers multiple base options, including IP65-rated outdoor models. You can mount the devices on walls or ceilings for indoor or outdoor use.
